Graduating from Central Queensland University (Sydney) in 2018 she wrote her honours thesis on patient perspectives of health treatments, in relation to fungal nails.
Katie has had an exposure to podiatry from a young age which initially sparked her interest in the profession.
She has a keen interest in all aspects of podiatry, including: general foot care and maintenance, biomechanics, ingrown toenails, kids sport, and diabetes foot health management. Katie values finding a treatment program for her patients that complements their lifestyle.
Katie is experienced in using extra-corporeal shockwave therapy in the treatment of tendon issues and has witnessed the success that this treatment has in reducing inflammation and pain.
