Member of the Australian Podiatry Association.
My name is Jacqueline Horne and I am a University of Newcastle Bachelor of Podiatry graduate. My areas of particular interest include diabetes and its effects on the lower limb, sports related soft tissue injuries and orthoses manufacture for lower limb alignment.
I also have experience from time spent in both private practice and a hospital setting in wound management, pediatric cases, acute lower limb injuries and nail surgery procedures.
I have developed a high level of interest in sports related lower limb cases through my personal involvement in various sports, hockey in particular, and a gym environment working with free weights, plyometric exercises and high intensity interval style training. I am personally very focused on health and fitness and find great satisfaction in helping others reach their own personal goals.
I have developed knowledge and skill with our practice’s PinPointe Foot Laser, used to treat fungal toenail infections with fantastic results. I love having patients return feeling happier with the look and feel of their feet after successful resolution of persistent, stubborn fungal toenail infections.
No complaint is too big or small, and it’s my aim to make every patient feel comfortable whilst visiting us, and happy and pain free as they walk out the door!
Please feel free to give our wonderful team a call today and make an appointment to see me!
