Heel Pain

The heel bone (calcaneus) is one of the highest impact areas of the body. The heels endure the impact of your entire weight each time you take a step. Poor walking patterns and tight or ill-fitting shoes exacerbate the impact of your stride and increase the wear and tear on your heels.

Sometimes, the result is painful. Heel pain is not easy to ignore because we are always on our feet.

Plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, Achilles Tendonitis, heel bursitis, Sever’s disease and Haglund’s deformity are some common debilitating heel problems.
